Hi folks

So glad to be blogging,I tried last last month but fell ill, fighting fit now but seriously overweight! So this month am going to attend at least three classes a week and persuade lots of friends to go on long walks with me,starting tomorrow with a 1 hour plus walk from Hadley Wood to Barnet and back.

I have been on an anti-depressant which causes a very big appetite and have put on over 2 stones in the last year!!and was quite solidly built before lol!!7 pounds in the right direction would put me at 16stone 12pounds still big but better. Also love the good feeling endorphins give me when I exercise.

So send me lots of messages to keep me going and any hot diet tips!!

ciao for now

Peter

Hey Peter! Good to meet you at the class on Monday and great to have someone to compare progress with. If we're trying to lose 2lbs a week, we should drop 9lbs in a month, so keep up the good work and step away from the goodies (we should call them baddies really).

Looking forward to seeing more blogs. What's your next class?

  5. Hey Peter

Keep up with the hard work - you know you can do it if you put your mind to it. Less lattes and pain au raisins and more healthy eating will get you there.....it will be a piece of cake! Carlotta

  6. I'll drink a decaf black Americano to Carlotta's comment about fewer lattes. They are the devil's work and sneakily pack gillions of calories and fat and all sorts of bad things.

Good luck, Peter. You'll be svelt and snake-hipped before you know it if you keep with Jane's 3 x a week recipe for success.

See you back at class soon.

Good on you, Peter - 3 lbs in 5/6 days is fantastic. Only started myself on Thursday but haven't lost an ounce! Will only weigh myself once a week from now on - it's too depressing. Thing is, I come back starving from classes and if there's leftover dinner/dessert around, well . . . So am going to leave a small dish of pasta (BORING) ready for when I return in future. Will introduce myself at the next class - I'm the one sweating buckets with a red face! Noticed today your face doesn't get redder at all. More effort required, or are you naturally as cool as a cucumber???
